The following specifications apply to the linked Double Matte film and should not be assumed for a different film formula:

• Recommended humidity: 40%–60% RH
• Ink compatibility: Pigment and dye, according to the manufacturer

Starting press guidance for Double Matte film

The manufacturer lists approximately 320°F for 8 seconds, followed by an optional 5-second finishing press with parchment paper for a softer feel. Treat these as starting points—not guaranteed settings. Your heat press accuracy, garment, ink load, powder, cure, pressure, and artwork can change the correct settings.

Protect your transfers

• Test a complete transfer before running customer production.
• Confirm which side of the selected film is printable before loading it.
• Keep film sealed, flat, and protected from heat, moisture, dust, and direct sunlight.
• Maintain approximately 40%–60% room humidity where possible; excess moisture or static can affect printing and powder behavior.
• If printed film appears oily or develops moisture beads, check ink load, powder application, and curing before assuming the film is defective.
• Ghosting or a visible border can also result from excessive press pressure or incomplete curing.
• Do not assume one press recipe works for every garment or film type.
